A new kitten

There are 4 formats that you can choose from when shooting the Diana with the 35mm back.

-Extended panoramic shot with exposed perforations.

-Extended panoramic shot without exposed perforations.

-Square image with exposed perforations.

-Standard rectangular image without exposed perforations.

I tried the panoramic shot with exposed perforations the other day.

When I was shooting I wasn't really aware of how wide photos would be.

So most of the photos didn't turn out to be as I had expected.

But that is the fun part of using the Diana.

I just need to figure out how/if I can scan the negative including the perforations part with my scanner.

Last weekend I finally got back around to taking photos after having been swamped with various things for a month or so.

I went to a museum of art on Sunday morning and tried out my Diana with 35 mm film.

The most recent photos of 120 film format that I took with the toy camera didn't turn out too well, which was a bit of disappointment.I hadn't used it for a while so I think I forgot how to handle it.Oh well.I guess I should mess around with it every once in a while to keep my Diana  skills.

After admiring the art by myself I met a friend and we went see Elliott Erwitt's exhibit.

I wish there were more small galleries in town where people can enjoy photography more casually.

It felt great to be surrounded by great photos.

But I just wish I could see more of young artist's work like I can see in Tokyo.

The dango is believed to protect you from evil spirits by eating it.

If only it had been that easy and simple to stay away from evil.

But it was yum so it's good.

Getting Up

The other day:

"Hey, have you heard Q-tip's new song?Don't you just love it?"

Oh man,  I absolutely love it!

Actually I can't keep listening to that song.

"Me too!"

Are you going to play it at your club sometime?

"Most definitely. I got it on vinyl."

Last night at 2 am:

Hey what up?I came for Getting Up.

"Man, you came so late.I already played that song earlier."

What!?

Darn....can you play it again?

"Well, I usually play one song only one time a night."

Come on!I want to dance to that song!Please play it again for me!Pleeeeaaaasssseee.

Several minutes later, the song got played.

And I danced to it feeling great.

I wish there was someone to dance with, though.
