初体験

I'd never stayed at an apartment building where there is a huge lounge that makes you feel like you are actually staying at a hotel.

I'd never played Wii before. That thing is pretty addictive.

I'd never thought my portrait could be easily drawn mainly with some thin lines.

Ginza

Ginza used to make me nervous and self-conscious.

When I was there last Saturday, I wasn't nervous but was feeling restless.
Maybe it was the X'mas lights, the photos I saw, the people I met, or all of those.

I don't know.

Well, I do know why I felt that way.

------

I just realized that I took almost a month to finish shooting a roll of 35mm film.
The past month was long and tiring.
It will be interesting to see the photos of which I don't really remember taking.

Last weekend

So I had some business to take care of in Osaka last weekend.
I went back there for the first time in more than 10 years.
My uncle used to live downtown Osaka so I would go down there every once in a while to visit him but that was until he passed away about 15 years ago.

Anyway, Osaka always confuses me.
More accurately, the underpasses around JR Osaka station do.
I was never able to figure out the shortest way to the place I had to go all the time I was there.

This trip turned out to be a really fun one, thanks to my friend Haru, who let me stayed at her place in Kyoto.I enjoyed my 45 minutes rides on the Hankyu line from Osaka to Kyoto both nights after I was done with my thing.

She and I hit a couple of bars downtown Kyoto.
"Bar 5" in Kawaramachi played nice music, and more importantly there was a cute bartender there. No wonder all the counter seats was full of young ladies.

I wish I could live in Kyoto.

Tako katsu burger

They have "たこカツバーガー" at Mos burger in Osaka.
Since I love both Tako-yaki and Mos burger, I decided to give it a shot.

Well, I realized that there are some things that should never be mixed up.

A vodka bar in Pontocho(先斗町)

If you are a big fan of vodka and ever get a chance to go to Pontocho you should go to "Vodka bar Nakanishi".

Going West

I don't like being too bored, but being too busy does not making me feel very great.

November is going to be crazy and the craziness has already begun.
I made a trip down to Nagoya this past weekend and came back to Shizuoka absolutely exhausted.

First, my little digital camera died on me.
Then my iPod died on me as well.
And finally I myself died a little.

Why do people in Nagoya move slowly?
Every time I go down there I ask this same question.
I could have gotten on the Shinkansen 30 minutes earlier if everybody in Nagoya station had walked a bit faster.

I wanted to scream.

But I like Nagoya.
At least they have a ZARA shop and we don't in Shizuoka.
