Noriko

Brothers

A friend of mine came to visit me with her family.
She and I went to the same elementary school so we have known each other for more than a quarter century. Crazy.
Even though we don't live close to each other now, we keep in touch pretty good and if she ever comes in my area she stops by to show her lovely smile and her ever unchanging hair style.

She wanted a baby girl but had a son. Then she tried again and had another son.
She kept on trying and ended up becoming a mother of three boys.
I hope it won't happen to me.

On the last day of July

With heavy luggage and a bubuzela in his hand, another good friend of mine left Japan for good. Here I am missing him, but in his home country, there are people who had been missing him and now they must be happy to have him back. July is a goodbye month for me every year the past several years and I can never get used to this feeling.

I hope you enjoyed your EBISU in the shinkansen, Davin.
Someday I will have to see what Wisconsin is like.

Clouds

Being in a large crowd of people wearies me so much, even if I know everyone in the group. I'll enjoy talking to each of them if I get a chance to have a conversation one on one. But it just makes me tired of trying to talk to different people about different topics in a short period of time. So I usually end up spending a little time on chatting with just a few of the people in the group and feeling restless the rest of the time. Then people think that I look either bored or pissed off or something. That's how I get the image of a-girl-that's-not-easy-to-talk-to. Crap. It is hard to change the way you are if you are the way you are for over 30 years.

I didn't think about this kind of thing when I shot this photo, though.
Just a random thought of today.

Who are you skyping with, kid?

My son doesn't seem to be interested in any toys so far but my cell phone, my MBP, or remote controlers. Those are what's always around him I guess. Ah bad parenting.

July

For some reason, I thought I should give it a try to document the month of July in B/W films.
I will post some more later.
